How do I disable ads?
How do I disable ads?
Ads are how we make money, so we would rather you don't disable them. However, if you really hate ads and can't possibly imagine clicking on them, you can disable them using ad blockers, which will block ads both on Map Collector and other websites/apps.
In a web browser on your computer, you can download a browser extension to block ads. The one we recommend is uBlock Origin, which is available on most desktop browsers.
To block ads in the Android app, you can download an ad blocker app. The one we recommend is DNS66.
Most ad blockers have an option to whitelist websites/apps, so if you want to block ads on other websites/apps but still support Map Collector, you can whitelist Map Collector. This is however not a requirement.
